Campus Safety's goal is to create a safe environment in support of the College's values and mission by providing educational programs, services, support, emergency response, and high visibility patrol for the campus community. Their team is here to assist 24/7.

CARE TEAM
The CARE Team is a multi-departmental group who convenes weekly to discuss students of concern and coordinate outreach, support, and referrals. The CARE Team responds to concerns about students who may be struggling with academic, personal, mental health or physical health issues that interfere with their ability to be successful.
You can refer a student to the CARE Team via CARE Team Online Referral Form.

CHAPLAINS OFFICE
The Chaplain's Office fosters the life of the spirit by inviting authentic spiritual exploration and meaningful religious commitment. Supporting the human quest for identity and belonging to cultivate an education of the heart to enrich the life of the mind at CC through rituals, practices, engaged communities, and individual spiritual and pastoral care.

CC COUNSELING CENTER
The CC Counseling center provides two levels of 24/7 access: Protocall telehealth counseling and crisis response available to all enrolled students, and a counselor on-call crisis response (access through Campus Safety).

STUDENT ORGANIZATION FOR SEXUAL SAFETY (SOSS)
SOSS is a student coalition of passionate allies, survivors, and advocates who are dedicated to creating a healthy and safe sexual climate, as well as shifting the culture on Colorado College's campus towards ending sexual violence. SOSS tackles issues through varied and intersectional lenses such as rape culture, sexual assault, rape, intimate partner violence, and other forms of abuse and trauma, while also celebrating and promoting healthy, pleasurable, and consensual intimate experiences. SOSS provides students with a platform to question and understand the intricacies of these issues and the ways in which they influence our community.

STUDENT TITLE IX ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCE TEAM (START)
START exists to provide survivors of intimate partner violence, rape, and sexual violence of any kind with advocacy support. By working closely with the sexual assault response coordinator (SARC) and Title IX team, Peer Advocates for Students hopes to improve the experiences of students involved in Title IX cases at Colorado College. Peer Advocates for Students complete over 40 hours of Trauma Informed Care Student Advocacy Training. They provide support for students regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, ethnicity, economic background, disability status, religion, or age.

NAMI ON CAMPUS
NAMI works to end the stigma that makes it hard for students to talk about mental health and get the help they need. They hold creative meetings, innovative awareness events, and offer signature NAMI programs through partnership with NAMI Colorado Springs. Their goal is to educate the campus community and advocate for improved mental health services and policies on campus.

TESSA OF COLORADO SPRINGS
TESSA provides immediate safety at their confidential safe-house for women, children, and other victims escaping abuse, empowers survivors through programs and support such as advocacy and counseling, and creates a safer future through education and outreach to schools, businesses, and other organizations. It is a multi-faceted agency that includes a confidential Safe-house, Victim Advocacy, Counseling and Children’s Programs, a 24/7 Safe Line, and Community Outreach and Education. Through these efforts, TESSA strives to realize the vision of a community free of personal violence for all.

THE WELLNESS RESOURCE CENTER
The Wellness Resource Center serves as the hub for prevention and health promotion work on campus, and plays a key role in assessing and identifying health trends and priorities, developing strategies to reduce harm and capitalize on individual protective factors and campus strengths, and provides leadership, coordination and integration of campus health and wellness initiatives.

PIKES PEAK SUICIDE PREVENTION
Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership unites the community in addressing suicide in the Pikes Peak Region through education, intervention, and post-vention. Its goal is to reduce suicide in the Pikes Peak Region.
