COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides clinical services to eligible students.

CNY CRISIS NETWORK

CNY Crisis Network is a unified group of local crisis response services who work together to provide community members with the best possible care and resources during a mental health crisis by providing “someone to talk to, someone to respond, and a place to go” in a safe and supportive way.

VERA HOUSE

Vera House is a domestic and sexual violence service agency that provides shelter, advocacy, and counseling services. Vera House includes a 24-hour crisis and support line, Advocacy Program, Emergency Shelter, and more.

STUDENT OUTREACH AND SUPPORT

Student Outreach and Support helps students no matter the issue or challenge at Syracuse University. Student Case Managers are there for students, staff, faculty, parents, and families.

Case managers provide support in many areas. Some of which include absence notifications, academic support, adjustment and transition, emergency aid, sexual and relationship violence support, personal/family emergencies, and more.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

THE COUPLE AND FAMILY THERAPY CENTER

The Couple and Family Therapy Center (CFTC) offers confidential therapy services to those coping with life’s challenges. Some of the issues most frequently discussed include resolving relationship difficulties, exploring and affirming diverse gender experiences and moving beyond family violence or substance abuse. CFTC serves diverse clients from across New York.

SEXUAL ASSAULT RESOURCE AGENCY

National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serves as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care. NEDA facilities are located all around the country.
